Requirements for an institution to become a member of the Utah Council include:
- Any University, 4-year college, 2-year college, or Applied Technology College operated by the State of Utah’s
- Any private University, 4-year college, or two year college which:
- maintains a significant, main (not branch) campus with a minimum of 1,000 on-campus students (this does not include online registrations) and substantial programs within the state of Utah; and
- is accredited by a regional accrediting agency such as the Northwest Association of Schools and Colleges.
- NOTE: Due to scheduling and
accommodations at the high school venues, a moratorium has been placed
on post-secondary membership at the present time. Changes to the moratorium will be posted here on the Utah Council Website.

All High Schools in the State of Utah are encouraged to become members of the Utah Council. Member institutions are provided with a guidebook to assist students in their post-secondary education selection process. The guidebook is provided in conjunction with a Post-High School tour which occurs each Fall during September, October and November.

Members of the Council will be provided a copy of the Student Guide Book for each of the members of their Senior Class. The Guide Book includes valuable information concerning Admissions, Scholarships, Financial Aid, Deadlines, Cost of Attendance and, most importantly, contact information for each of the Higher Education institutions which make up the council.
Secondary Membership Fees
- 800+ students._ $100 annual membership
- 700-799 students._ $95 annual membership
- 600-699 students._ $85 annual membership
- 500-599 students._ $75 annual membership
- 400-499 students._ $65 annual membership
- 300-399 students._ $55 annual membership
- 200-299 students._ $45 annual membership
- 100-199 students._ $35 annual membership
- 1-99 students._ $25 annual membership

Fees are due by April 15, 2007.
Fees received after April 15, 2007 will be subject to a $25.00 late fee.
If Fees are not received by June 30, 2007, schools will not receive the College Student Guide Book.
